FIller

When you think of fillers, think volume. Hyaluronic acid fillers are injected into

the skin through a needle or cannula to correct the signs of aging by restoring lost volume and smoothing fine lines/wrinkles. Additionally, they can enhance the face by augmenting lips, cheeks, chin, and jawline. Fillers can create a

subtle or dramatic difference based on personal preference and aesthetic goals. The number of syringes required to reach your desired result is based on a number of factors, therefore, a consultation is recommended prior to treatment.

WHAT to expect:

  • Discussion of your concerns

  • Full facial assessment at rest and during animation

  • Before and After photographs

  • Cleansing and sanitizing skin for injections

  • Marking injection sites and application of anesthetic (topical or injectable)

  • Relaxation/distraction techniques utilized during injections

  • Post-care instructions given verbally and via email

Microneedling

Microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), frequently referred to as the “vampire facial," has become popular in the aesthetic world due to its proven results. With a simple blood draw, a concentration of natural growth factors and stem cells in your own blood can be collected and used to stimulate new collagen and elastin growth, as well as treat a variety of common skin concerns (e.g., acne scars, hyperpigmentation, large pores, fine lines/wrinkles).

WHAT to expect:

  • Discussion of your concerns

  • Full facial assessment noting areas to focus additional attention on during treatment

  • Before and treatment series photographs

  • Application of topical anesthetic

  • Blood draw

  • Preparation of PRP/PRF from blood draw

  • Cleansing and sanitizing skin after removal of topical anesthetic

  • Initiation of treatment with frequent assessment of comfort level

  • Post-care instructions given verbally and via email

  • Redness, tenderness, tightness, “sun/wind burn” appearance may be present for 2-3 days post procedure

  • Visible and textural changes noted 5-10 days post treatment with gradual changes noted over 30-60 days as collagen and elastin production peaks

  • Yearly assessment and additional treatment may be required to maintain results

PRP/PRF

PRP/PRF Injections

The natural properties found in PRP/PRF make them superior when compared to man-made products for use in skin care procedures such as Microneedling and direct injection. By drawing your blood and using your own platelets, fibrin and plasma, we are utilizing the purest and most natural form of growth factors possible. This gives exceptional results when treating aging concerns, acne scarring, and issues with skin tone, and texture. These natural growth factor injections are used much the same way as dermal fillers; they can be injected into several areas of your face to help with under-eye discoloration and puffiness, volume loss, deep wrinkles/folds and fine lines.

WHAT to expect:

  • Discussion of your concerns

  • Full facial assessment at rest and during animation

  • Before and treatment series photographs

  • Blood draw

  • Preparation of PRP/PRF from blood draw

  • Cleansing and sanitizing skin for injections

  • Marking injection sites and application of anesthetic (topical or injectable)

  • Relaxation/distraction techniques utilized during injections

  • Redness, bruising, tenderness and swelling may be present at injection sites

  • Visible fullness noted immediately after injections but will fade as your body absorbs the PRP/PRF serum.

  • Tone and textural gradual changes noted over 30-60 days as collagen and elastin production peaks

  • Yearly assessment and additional treatment may be required to maintain results

Sculptra is made with biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid (found in dissolvable stitches), which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body. Over a series of treatments, it helps restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin to diminish facial lines/wrinkles and increase volume in areas of loss.

WHAT to expect:

  • Discussion of your concerns

  • Full facial assessment noting areas to focus additional attention on during treatment

  • Before and treatment series photographs

  • Initiation of treatment with frequent assessment of comfort level

  • Post-care instructions given verbally and via email

  • The number of treatments vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost

  • On average, two treatments are needed over a period of two months

Dissolving Dermal Filler

Dissolving filler is a procedure that involves using an enzyme called hyaluronidase (brand name Hylenex) to break down and dissolve hyaluronic acid-based fillers. This procedure is done for a variety of reasons including undesirable results, migration, immune reaction to filler or during an event where filler has accidentally been deposited in a blood vessel.

It' is important to note that only hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, such as Juvederm, Restylane, Versa and RHA can be dissolved using hyaluronidase. Other types of fillers cannot be dissolved and may require alternative treatments or waiting for them to naturally break down over time. Multiple treatments may be required to dissolve all the filler.

"I cannot recommend Laura enough.

I set up a consultation with Laura and she created a treatment plan that catered to exactly what I wanted. She went over her extensive safety and comfort measures that included numbing, anti-swelling, and anti-bruising meds. I felt so confident and left with the most amazing results. She had another injector there during my appointment who was training. I listened to Laura explain what she was doing, why, her tricks and tips, why she chose two different types of filler to create the desired look, and it was so apparent to me how knowledgeable and experienced she was!"
